Meet Dr. Uzma Khan
Dr. Uzma Khan Oakville dentist went to a private dental school in Karachi, Pakistan, where she graduated with six gold medals and distinctions. From there, she worked at one of the top dental clinics in the country. After arriving in Canada, she studied at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry.
As a general dentist, Dr. Uzma has more than 23 years of experience working in Pakistan and here in Canada. She believes in creating an environment that she is comfortable in, so that others may feel the same. It is her vision for the office to evolve and grow, nurtured with love and care. Dr. Uzma is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Halton-Peel Dental Association and South Asian Dental Association and is a certified Invisalign provider.
In her free time, Dr. Uzma enjoys spending time with her three children.
Meet our office manager, Syeda
Syeda Rizwana is the office manager at Uptown Oakville Dentistry. She graduated with a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Education in India. Upon migrating to Canada in 2008, Syeda entered the dental field. From there, she studied and received her Intra Oral Dental Assistant level 1 and 2.
Syeda has been working in the dental field for over 13 years, during which she has acquired a plethora of skills working as a recall coordinator, dental assistant and dental receptionist. She is known for her excellent work ethic and is always ready to assist patients with insurance and treatment-related questions.
Outside of the office, Syeda enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family.
Meet our dental assistant and receptionist, Lisa
Lisa Holodenko is our dental assistant and receptionist at Uptown Oakville Dentistry.
She moved to Canada from Ukraine in 2022 and began her dental career at our clinic. Lisa is our youngest employee and continues to impress with her reliability, diligence and is always there to greet our patients with a smile.
Outside of the dental office, Lisa enjoys photography and social media management.
